Location of Major Ports

Getting to Northamptonshire by Sea

Northamptonshire's central location makes it easy to travel to and from any of the major ferry ports.

Northamptonshire is situated in the heart of central England and is an ideal location for you to spend time exploring the sights and relaxing on your journey from the ferry ports on the east coast across to the west coast and on to Ireland.

With the A14 running through the county it's easy to get to the major freight ports on the east coast such as Felixstowe.

The M1 and A1 provide access to the south and south east ports of Dover, Newhaven, and Portsmouth.
