Situated just outside the village of Brixworth, 5 miles north of Northampton on the A508. The park has a network of accessible surfaced trails leading round 15 hectares of countryside overlooking the picturesque Pitsford Water. A wealth of wildlife, wonderful views and accessible facilities, including a residential centre for groups.
The park provides countryside access for all, irrespective of physical or mental ability and social or cultural background.
Picnic meadows. Accessible waymarked trails. Cycle/walking trail around Pitsford Water (7miles). Cycle hire centre and cycle shop. Sculpture trail. Pond dipping (equipment available from the rangers). Mackintosh Centre (self-catering residential centre for groups). Visitor Information Centre with countryside information, souvenirs, activities and displays. Sensory garden. Wildlife observation hide. Ranger led countryside activities for schools and groups. Café providing food and refreshments.
Opening Times Fully accessible car park open all year in daylight hours. Fully accessible toilets open 8.30pm to 5.00pm (except Christmas Day). Visitor Information Centre open 9am to 5pm (except Christmas Day). Souvenir shop open Friday to Sunday 11am to 4pm.
Admission Free for pedestrians, cyclists and buses. Pay and display car parking in operation. Car parking close to all amenities. Annual parking permits available.
