The Pig & Waffle

The Pig & Waffle is so much more than a pub - it’s simply the perfect country destination for all who love good food and a relaxed drink.

The Pig & Waffle opens its doors for Brunch at 10am Monday to Sunday - offering fresh juices, locally sourced bacon and sausages, eggs (from local free range eggs) as well as perfect steak & eggs and plenty for Vegans & Vegetarians as well as Dairy free and Gluten free options. We serve brunch from 10 am to 4.30pm and from 6pm we are open for tapas or just join us for a drink to meet friends and enjoy the surroundings - that’s not a problem as there is never a hurry at The Pig & Waffle.

Evenings are equally relaxed with beers, wines & cocktails to accompany a world tapas menu. It’s the perfect place to unwind and meet with friends or family (or even for a treat on your own!). We serve Tapas from 6pm to 8.30pm with an ever changing selection and a great choice of Northamptonshire cheeses served even with a bottle of port!

A Wine list to suit all needs and lovers of wine a like with 20 plus bottles available by the glass including Laurent Perrier Champagne and various bottle sizes from magnums up to 5 litre bottles! Port by the bottle and so much more!

As well as family and dog friendly, The Pig & Waffle is walker and cyclist friendly too (it’s wonderful cycling and walking country in the undulating surrounds). Throughout the day there is a kiosk (Pig Pen) in the ample garden where the outdoor enthusiast doesn’t need to worry about those muddy boots or wheels and can grab a coffee, sip a cold beer or glass of wine while taking a welcome break from their activity. There are various ‘cakes and sausages rolls on offer for those with a sweet tooth and also the delicious local Riverside Dairy ice cream for those hazy hot summer days - or just because.
