The Shire

The Shire is a wellness and events venue set across 150 acres of lakes, parkland, and carefully restored farm buildings. On the Bucks and Northants border, just an hour from London, it offers a peaceful escape from the pace of modern life.

From wild swimming and sauna sessions to tennis and long walks in nature, The Shire is rooted in the belief that real wellbeing doesn’t need to be complicated. Quality is at the core of everything we do, from the spaces we've created to the experiences we host.

Company Offsites

An opportunity for teams to step away, slow down and think together.
Base yourself in our stunning, fully equipped meeting room with time set aside to explore everything The Shire has to offer. Add as much or as little as you like, from wild swimming and sauna to guided wellness or tennis. 
A seasonal lunch is included, as well as transport to and from the venue.
Each offsite is tailored and fully hosted, so you can focus on what really matters. 

Event & Meeting Space

Our event space sits in the basement of the old farmhouse, with five brick arches opening onto a terraced garden with firepit and outdoor seating — a seamless blend of indoors and out. Hire includes exclusive use of the 260m² event space, terrace and walled garden. Also within the farmhouse, our meeting room is fully equipped for gatherings of every kind.

At The Shire, the estate is exclusively yours for the weekend, giving you the freedom to let your celebration unfold at its own pace.
