Daventry Museum

Daventry Museum is a friendly and fascinating social history museum. Supported by volunteers and funded by Daventry Town Council, this cultural hub is where people meet to share stories and learn about Daventry’s rich history.

Located in the centre of the England, Daventry has a complex and unique history of people moving to and through the town. Our collection tells these stories with artifacts and a social history collection. We also have a contemporary collection including oral histories, pieces that tell stories and material bringing Daventry’s history up to date and reflecting now.

As well as the permanent collection, the museum has around three exhibition a year when we exhibit many interesting objects linked to Daventry’s history that have been donated or often loaned by local people.
